Moment abducted 3-yr-old boy reunites with mother in Abuja (Video)
A 3-year-old boy who was abducted by a nanny in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory reunites with his mother in an emotional video.
Earlier this week, an Abuja-based businesswoman shared the distressing news on social media. She reported that the nanny had departed the estate with the child, as evidenced by CCTV footage, but had not returned.
Furthermore, she revealed that the mother of the abducted child is currently fighting against cancer.
“Please help find this baby and pray for his safe return. Taken by his nanny from an estate in Gwarimpa, Abuja. Please be on the lookout and pray. The boy’s mom is battling cancer… help, help please,” she wrote.
Subsequently, the alleged kidnappers made contact with the family and requested a ransom of N15 million. The mother of the boy appealed to them, suggesting a ransom of N5 million, but they declined.
Ultimately, the child was returned to his mother after the nanny and her accomplices were apprehended.
Jesse Dan Yusuf, a family member, affirmed this recent update on Thursday, July 13, 2023, stating that the suspected kidnappers were arrested, and the boy has been reunited with his unwell mother.
