Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd. was formed by Peter Mbah. He entered politics after a successful corporate career. Governor Chimaroke Nnamani appointed him Chief of Staff in 2003, and he later served as Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development.
However, he did hold positions on the State Security Council, the Enugu State Executive Council, and the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee.
Peter Mbah chaired several committees, including the Sub-Committee on Legal Matters of the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee.
He was also chosen as the PDP’s candidate for governor of Enugu state in the 2023 general election.
