“Labour Party still dubiously selling hopes to Obidients” — Joe Igbokwe
Joe Igbokwe, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Drainage and Water Resources, criticized the Labour Party for allegedly selling false hopes to its supporters, Obidients.
Igbokwe stated that the party is misleading Obidients by encouraging the hopes of reclaiming their supposedly stolen mandate.
Following the February election where the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, came third and insisted on his intention to challenge the election’s outcome in court. Despite this, Peter Obi and Labour Party have continuously urged their members to remain hopeful.
On April 24, Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to express his surprise at what he referred to as a time of “deception,” stating that he had never seen anything like it before.
“Labour party is still dubiously telling their supporters that there is still hope for them abi? I have seen deception before but this one has no part 2. We will get understanding by force. Dazzol,” he wrote.
