Gunmen kidnap Nasarawa deputy governor’s driver

Unknown Gunmen kidnap Daniel Ogoshi, the driver of the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe.

Recall that a former deputy governor of the state, Prof. Onje Gye-Wado, was recently kidnapped and released after a ransom of about N4m.

According to Punch, the driver was abducted from the residence of his friend around 9:30 pm, at Ombi 2, College of Agriculture, Kwandere Road, Lafia, the state capital, on Tuesday. His phone and car were left behind by the gunmen.

A family friend of the victim, who confirmed the incident to Punch, said that he received a call around 9 pm that his brother had been taken away by the kidnappers.

Also, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Ramhan Nansel, while confirming the incident said the police were on top of the matter.
