“AY messed with loyalty” — Throwback interview of Basketmouth resurfaces
A throwback interview of the famous standup comedian, Basketmouth resurfaces where he blamed AY Makun for breaking their loyalty bond.
This came following an interview conducted by Chude Jideonwo with AY where he explained the reason behind their 17-year-old beef.
AY attributed the cause to a business transaction that went sour, and he made a wrong decision in his attempt to recover his money from Basketmouth.
This incident prompted netizens to dig up an old interview video of Basketmouth with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, where he briefly touched on their beef, mentioning that it had to do with a breach of loyalty.
Basketmouth explained that AY shared confidential information with a third party, which caused damage to their relationship. He acknowledged that everything was fine between them before the incident occurred.
