Ramos denies making controversial comment about PSG after Champions League defeat
Sergio Ramos has set the record straight after being accused of cussing his club, PSG, in Spanish after their defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
After a close first-half, Bayern scored twice in the second half through Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry to seal a comfortable 3-0 aggregate victory for the Bavarians.
Following the defeat, a video of Ramos’ post-match frustration went viral and it was alleged that he said in the video “F*ck the wh*re that gave birth to Paris. Motherf****r”.

The Spanish defender has however dismissed the claim. He said in a statement;
“I don’t usually dwell on this subject, but I don’t want to accept something that didn’t happen. At no time do I say Paris, I make a sound of disappointment “pssss” or “pfff” in the context of an expression (crude, admittedly) that we are used to saying in football. Let’s not invent, let’s not look for something where there is nothing.”
Away from their Champions League defeat, the Les Parisiens must bounce back this weekend away to Brest in order to keep their push for another Ligue 1 title alive.
