No casualties as fire gut Kano police headquarters

There has been a fire incident at the Kano state police headquarters, thankfully, no casualties were recorded.

The unfortunate incident was said to have taken place on Saturday, the 14th of January, 2023. It has been gathered that no casualties were recorded although the upper floor of the building was rudely affected.

The office of the police commissioner, Mamman Dauda was also spared.

Official statement released reads:

”Today, 14/01/2023, a fire engulfed the first floor of Kano State Police Command’s Headquarters Bompai Administrative Block. No life was lost and no injury was recorded. The fire was brought under control by firefighters. Command’s records are intact. Invest commenced.”
