Most of the men endorsing Tinubu’s workout video are eight-seconds men – Fisayo Soyombo
Fisayo Soyombo, the journalist who became a popular figure in Nigerian media space after going undercover in a police cell as a suspect for five days, has reacted to All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu’s workout video which has long sparked a controversy.
Tinubu had shared the video to dispel rumors of his death and withdrawal from the upcoming presidential election.
Reacting to the video, Fisayo stated that men endorsing the video are “eight-seconds men”. He added that more information can be gotten from their wives.
Fisayo wrote;
“Many of the men endorsing that workout video are eight-second men. Just ask their wives”
He also said that if one has to release a video of them working out to prove they are healthy, then something is wrong.
Fisayo wrote;
“If you really have to publicly release a video of yourself working out to prove your strength and health, then something is definitely not right. Like, why try so hard?”
However, when a follower accused him of being partisan, Fisayo responded by saying that the comment is coming from people feeding off crumbs from the All Progressives Congress’ table.
The journalist also disclosed that the ruling party tried to get him in the past but failed.
Fisayo wrote in response;
“You mean neutrality is keeping quiet while the old, frail and greedy attempt to capture power for their own selfish agenda?
“Your comment shows you’re only feeding off the crumbs from APC’s tables. Go ask your bosses dining at the party’s table; they’ll tell you they tried to get me in the past but they failed. Not all of us will sell our conscience for a pot of porridge.”
