Mercy Atis of ‘I don’t give a damn’ fame strips naked as police raid her brothel (Video)
Kenyan singer Merceline Atieno aka Mercy Atis who found fame on the internet after her song ‘I Don’t Give a Damn’ went viral on social media in 2020, stripped naked on Sunday, September 18, after the police raided her brothel.
Local publications reported that the police acted on a tip-off from members of the public in conjunction with Kajiado County Liquor Licensing Board.
The security officers raided Motherland bar, a dingy facility that was previously an eatery joint but has turned into a strippers’ club.
During the raid, some revelers were seen smoking while others engaged in group orgies.

Mercy Atis who was told she was operating an illegal facility, hauled unprintable names at the team.
She stripped naked and dared police officers to kill her, insisting that the raid was initiated by a “jealous person”.
Security operatives closed down the facility as revelers scampered for safety. The singer was subsequently arrested and is being held at Kitengela police station.
Chairman of the Liquor Licensing Board Jonah Marapash who ordered the closure of the bar said;
“The orgy scenes we have witnessed in this club spell doom to our children.
“I thank members of the public for giving vital information about what has been going on in this club.
“We are on high alert to tame the operations of nightclubs and bars and there’s need not to allow open immorality in the name of business.
“We are going to close all strippers’ joints, revoke their licenses, and blacklist their owners.”

after residents complained to the @NPSC_KE. Police arrived but were not able to arrest her after she striped. The girls too took off. Today it will be business as usual. @DCI_Kenya pic.twitter.com/4ZIAL8NdNr
