“Nobody banned my movie, I have the right to write my own story” – Yomi Fabiyi speaks
Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi in response to the series of blasts and slams he has received from both fellow celebrities and other individuals as regards his new movie titled ‘Oko Iyabo‘, has restated his right to write his own story.
In a post he recently made, Yomi Fabiyi noted that his movie was not banned, rather it was a deliberate act to make it private in order to reduce the tensions and heat that was emanating from different angles since the movie surfaced.
Yomi Fabiyi also said that Iyabo Ojo and Princess at some time has also used his full name in some movies and videos but he didn’t agitate because he is a person who believes in the fundamental rights of humans.
Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote:
“I hand you all to your consciences and God.
No amount of all these can pull me down.
AND NOBODY BANNED MY MOVIE. We private it deliberately just to give room for calm. At some point OKO IYABO MOVIE will be released on DVD, YouTube and others. You can’t abort an already born baby.
Censor’s board will rate OKO IYABO when I apply and everybody will enjoy the movie soon because it is about two young actors, Yomi & Iyabo fighting on a case from different angle and personalities.
The movie has enough message. MY FULL V RESPONSE TOMORROW
Thank you all for your continued support and genuine concerns.
Yomi Fabiyi”
