“Igbotic and proud” – Mercy Eke reacts after being dragged for her local accent
Reality star, Mercy Eke has reacted to trolls on social media as regards her local and indigenous accent, as she affirms that she’s ‘igbotic’ and unapologetic about it.
Mercy Eke had earlier come under fire for her pronounced Igbo accent when she flaunted her expensive Hermes bags in a recent video.
Recall that she said that her Hermes bag is more popular than some people in Nigeria.
In her words:
“Don’t let anything touch it. See these two bags, I think in Nigeria, they are more popular than some people. I mean it when I say it. This bag trended for like five days if I’m not mistaken. Everybody was just talking about it. Why? I love it and that made me value whatever I spent on it.”
Mercy Eke later got the drag of her life and after this, she took to her Twitter handle to reiterate how proud she is to have originated from the Igbo tribe.
