Ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri condemns the popular saying that money can’t buy happiness as a made-up fact by happy rich people.
According to Reno, in his Twitter post shared, he has said the phrase, “money can’t buy happiness” is a way of impoverishing the poor.
In his bid to trash the biased narrative about money, he asked a rhetorical question; are you not happy when you get bank alerts?
In his words, he tweeted;
“The phrase ‘money can’t buy happiness’ was invented by happy rich people to prevent the poor from threatening their wealth! Money is very, very, very, conducive to happiness! Are you not happy when you get bank alerts? Was it poverty that caused it?”
