Twitter influencer, Motara pleads for forgiveness again, now in three languages (Video)
Popular Twitter influencer, Omotara ‘Motara‘ Akanni has pleaded once again to Nigerians to forgive her for humiliating a child beggar.
Three weeks ago, a video captured the moment Motara teased a child beggar with a bottle of drink.
According to the influencer, the video made its way online after she shared it on her WhatsApp status and has since received heavy backlash.
Motara not only lost her Twitter account but also lost some endorsement deals.
Following the damages the video caused her, she has now taken to her new Twitter page to tender a second apology in three different languages, English, Yoruba, and Hausa.
Sharing the video, she wrote;
“It’s been long weeks of lessons for me. I made a terrible mistake and I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I promise to be a better version of myself and be more kind and compassionate. Thank yall for the corrections”
