“It’s mandatory to tip waiters after services” – Nigerian lady says

A Nigerian lady on Twitter, @Imoteda, who is a chef, has sparked debate after she said it’s mandatory to tip workers in restaurants for service rendered.

According to her, it’s appalling that people just go to restaurants or salons and walk out without tipping the the person who rendered them a service.

“You people really think it’s alright to get service and not tip?!!!

Like seriously?? So when you get your hair and nails done you just walk out???

You go out to eat and just bounce???

I am appalled!” she wrote.

Another Twitter user supported her, saying if you cannot afford to tip 10 to 20%, then you should not eat out. See the tweets below…
