“I literally begged a guy for 10 years to free this name for me” – Davido celebrates getting his correct username on IG after 10 years of begging

Popular Nigerian Singer, Davido has shared his excitement on social media after getting his stage name, Davido on Instagram.

Davido who was formerly known as ‘Davidoofficial’ on Instagram, revealed his stage name was being used by a Brazilian and for the past ten years, he has been begging the guy to allow him use the name.

The “Fem” crooner made the announcement on the 6th of November via Twitter, excitedly stating that he has now claimed ownership of “Davido” on Twitter.

He said;

“Finally!!!!! NEW IG NAME: DAVIDO … lol I literally begged some Brazilian guy for like 10 years on ig to free this name for me !! Thank you…”
