Davido recalls how he gave out his music CD in 2011 hoping to get signed

Nigerian music icon, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido has recalled how he gave out his music demo in a CD hoping to get signed.

The singer recalled this in a recent post he shared on his Instagram page yesterday.

The post he shared was a screenshot of his recent WhatsApp conversation with a music producer who reminded him of how he gave him his Dami Duro demo to him, in a CD way back in 2011.

Nine years later, Cecil Hammond, the said music producer had to introduce himself to Davido.

“It’s Cecil by the way” he reminded Davido who was amazed at how quick time flies.

Taking to his Instagram page, Davido shared the epic memory and appreciated God for bringing him thus far in life. “Life is crazy, I thank God” he said.

Sharing the screenshot, Davido wrote;

“Wow I gave this Dami Duro demo to Cecil Hammond in 2011 hoping to get signed outside a concert haha !!!! I NEED THIS CD!! LIFE IS CRAZY !! I THANK GOD !!”
