Social distancing defaulters punished in Delta State (Video)

The Government of Delta state recently vowed to punish defaulters who violate the ban on conferences, sporting activities, gathering of people at event centers, and other public engagements.

Some defaulters of this social distancing order were caught by Delta state authorities and the punishment meted out to them have raised eyebrows on social media.

In the video below, the defaulters could be seen lying face down with security operatives beside them.

Recall, while speaking about the lockdown situation in the state, the governor reminded residents that security agencies have been advised to ensure strict compliance with the above directives, and warned that violators will be prosecuted, without fear or favor.
