BREAKING: Third Case Of Corona Virus Confirmed In Lagos

A 30 year old Nigerian, female, has tested positive to Corona virus. According to reports, she returned from the UK on 13th March and observed self-Isolation after she noticed symptoms of the virus.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has meanwhile issued a public health advisory to inform Nigerians about symptoms and preventive measures, and has provided a toll-free number for guidance.

May Ubeku, a public health practitioner and epidemiologist, said Nigerian health authorities were “fully prepared” to contain the spread of the coronavirus, citing the series of measures introduced since January.

The affected victim of the virus is now at Mainland GH receiving care.
