Nigerian ladies are doing a ‘waist bead’ challenge on Twitter (Photos)

Nigerian ladies are holding a waist bead challenge on Twitter, and the platform has been flooded with beautiful photos of ladies putting on waistbeads.

The challenge was started off by a Twitter user who is also a Chemical Engineer, Mofeoluwa. She obliged girls to send in pictures of their waist beads to the platform, and since then, numerous photos of waist beads have surfaced.

As seen in the pictures below, the beads come in different colors and shapes and may also include decorative stones, crystals, or charms. According to ancient stories, waist beads stand as an exclusive symbol of feminity.
