‘Naira Marley for President’ – Lady reveals what the singer’s name did for her

A Twitter user has just taken to the platform to give a narration on how Nigerian singer Naira Marley’s name saved her from harassment from street thugs.

The lady wrote about how the land grabbers in her area were making repairs on the road that leads into her estate, and diverted everyone to a longer route.

According to her, one of them listened as she was playing Naira Marley’s song Mafo and recognized her as a Marlian before asking his team to allow her in.

She wrote:

“Omo Naira Marley’s name just opened door for me o literally They are fixing the road to my house and Omo oniles locked the gate snd told us to go through a longer route lol I was playing Mafo in my car and one of them said marlians! E si fun …Naira Marley for president”
