‘A man earning N50k shouldn’t have any business getting married’ – Nigerian lady, says

A Twitter user with the handle @bougie_blackie took to the platform to advise men to be financially buoyant before embarking on marriage.

According to the young lady, a man earning 50k should not think of marriage.  She also said people shouldn’t compare it to those that married long time ago earning such amount as the economy isn’t the same as then.

“A guy earning 50k should not have any business getting married. It’s just not proper. And anyone that would say back in the day some parents earned less and still managed to fend and send kids to school should ask themselves if the economy then was the same as it is now.”, she tweeted.
