Senator Elisha Abbo granted bail, investigation continues

In less than 24 hours after detention, Senator Elisha Abbo has been granted bail.

Recall that he surrended himself to the Federal Capital Territory Police Command and was detained yesterday, following a video of him assaulting a nursing mother at a sex toy shop.

The reports gathered states that the senator regained his freedom at noon on Friday after meeting the bail conditions given to him, even when it’s unclear whether or not he’ll be charged to court.

The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, Bala Ciroma who did not disclose the bail conditions granted Senator Abbo, had promised to provide a personal and round-the-clock supervision of every facet of the investigation including the forensic analysis of the video which went viral days ago.
