Osimhen urges Galatasaray to stay focused after Kasimpasa draw

Victor Osimhen has called on his Galatasaray teammates to remain focused in the Turkish Super Lig title race after their 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker scored twice but could not secure all three points as Galatasaray saw their lead over Fenerbahce reduced to four points.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen expressed disappointment but praised his team’s efforts.

“I would say disappointment. That’s the best way to put it. We fought against an effective opponent.

“I’m proud of my teammates for their efforts. Football is like that sometimes,” he told Galatasaray’s official website.

With 11 matches remaining, Osimhen stressed the importance of maintaining intensity.

“This is a really tough league. You have to fight well from the first minute to the last minute.

“You can be punished very quickly. We continue in the championship race. We have all the quality needed to win.”
