Students discuss exam cheating strategy in bus, invigilator secretly listens, vows to expose them
A Nigerian university invigilator has taken to social media to share how he unintentionally overheard students devising a plan to cheat in an upcoming examination—unaware that he was sitting right beside them in a bus.
The invigilator, who shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that he boarded the same bus as the students.
During the journey, they began discussing strategies to exchange answers in the exam hall, oblivious to the fact that a lecturer was among them.
Detailing the incident, he wrote:
“These students I’m sitting beside are strategizing on how to sit and pass answers in the examination hall 😂.”
“Unfortunately, I’m one of their invigilators for the examination this afternoon 😂.”
Vowing to disrupt their plans, he added:
“I can’t wait to scatter their formation during the exam. They thought I was an undergraduate like them. I’ve marked their faces. Also, they’ve been badmouthing their lecturers without restraint.”
