‘If there’s one thing I miss, it’s Old Trafford’ – Erik ten Hag admits

Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has admitted publicly that he misses his time at Old Trafford, while discussing future career.

The Dutchman confirmed that he will not take on a new managerial role until July 1, ensuring he starts fresh at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.

Speaking about his time at United, Ten Hag admitted:

“If there’s one thing I miss, it’s Old Trafford. We’ve had many highs at Manchester United, but as I always say, there is always room for improvement. Good is not enough.”

Despite being linked with the Borussia Dortmund job, Ten Hag has yet to take up another role.

His tenure at United lasted 128 games, during which he won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Ten Hag’s dismissal, along with his coaching staff’s departures, cost Manchester United £14.5 million in severance payments.
