FA Cup fifth round draw: Plymouth to face Man City, as Man United, Newcastle discover fate
Plymouth Argyle have been handed a blockbuster tie against Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round after their stunning upset against Liverpool.
Defending champions Manchester United will host Fulham at Old Trafford, while Newcastle United travel to the south coast for a tricky encounter against Brighton, who knocked out Chelsea in the previous round.
Seven-time winners Aston Villa will welcome Championship side Cardiff City, while Crystal Palace take on London rivals Millwall at Selhurst Park.
The final spot in the last 16 will be determined when Nottingham Forest face Exeter City on Tuesday night.
The winner of that clash will play Ipswich Town. Should Exeter progress, they would be the lowest-ranked side left in the competition; otherwise, that distinction belongs to Plymouth.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth will face Wolves in an all-Premier League contest, while Preston North End take on Burnley in a Lancashire derby.
All fifth-round ties are scheduled to take place on the weekend of March 1-2, with the FA Cup final set for Saturday, May 17 at Wembley.
