Man shares experience as he trekked from UNILAG to Ikeja for a girl because of love
A Nigerian man has recalled trekking from UNILAG to Ikeja for a girl because he was in love, only to later discover that she was giving the money he gave her to her main boyfriend.
He made this revelation in a video currently making waves on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
In the video, the man spoke at length about his experience, explaining that he did it out of love but later found out that, aside from having a main boyfriend, the girl was also involved with someone else.
His statement: “I trekked from UNILAG to Ikeja because of a girl. I knowingly fell in love with someone who was in a relationship. Even though she told me she had a boyfriend but that they were fighting, I thought I could love her out of the relationship.”
“I was an idiot because not only was she collecting my money and giving it to her main boyfriend, but she was also sleeping with someone else.”
“Ondo women—fear them. I’m so ashamed. I really was in love back then, but we thank God for life and the grace that broke the chains.”
