Yul Edochie defends 2Baba amid separation saga from Annie Idibia
Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has publicly backed Afrobeats legend Innocent 2Baba amid the backlash surrounding his troubled marriage to Annie Idibia.
This came after the African Queen hitmaker confirmed that his 13-year marriage to Annie Idibia—long plagued by infidelity rumours and emotional turbulence—has effectively ended. He disclosed that they have been living apart for some time and that divorce seems inevitable.

As 2Baba navigates his marital struggles, Yul sympathized with the musician’s plight while calling online in-laws to order.
In a recent post on his Instagram page, he argued that the opinion of social media users has no significance and is unwarranted in 2Baba’s marriage separation.
“Anybody insulting 2Baba or calling him out because of his family matter that does not concern you, THUNDER FIRE YOU!!!” he wrote.
