A Nigerian woman has shared a harrowing story of how her ex-boyfriend, now a police officer, forcibly dragged her into his home at midnight, tied her to a chair, and brutally beat her despite her desperate pleas for help.

She explained that her ex had called her, asking her to return an item he had left at her place.

Upon arriving at his home, she called him to come outside to collect the item. Instead, he allegedly dragged her inside, locked the doors, and began assaulting her.

The woman detailed her ordeal, saying: “I dated this guy for a short time while I was in school. I noticed some red flags, so I broke up with him. One evening, he called and claimed he had left something at my place and demanded I return it, threatening consequences if I didn’t.”

“I took a bike to his place, which wasn’t far. When I arrived, I called him to come outside, but instead, he dragged me inside, locked the doors, and the bike man, who I had asked to wait, did nothing.”

“Once inside, he started beating me, hitting me repeatedly. I screamed for my life, but no one came to help. He tied me to a chair and continued to assault me for hours.”

“When he was done, he sat down and said all sorts of things. I begged, cried, and screamed, but nothing stopped him. It was well past midnight at this point. Afterward, he knelt down and apologized, saying he didn’t know what came over him.”

“Long story short, I managed to escape and reported him to school authorities and others, but nothing was done. For months, I lived in fear, even asking a friend to stay with me. I couldn’t go anywhere without someone by my side.”

“The worst part is that this man continued to stalk me for months, even after I moved on. In 2013, he joined the police force, and years later, he still stalked me on Facebook.”

Her post has sparked outrage, with many commenting on the shocking incident, expressing their concern about the dangers posed by individuals like him joining the police force.
