You can’t be a billionaire through sports, music – Anthony Joshua

Nigerian-British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has shared his thoughts on the path to becoming a billionaire.

According to the athlete who had a splendid Detty December holiday in Nigeria, billionaire status cannot be achieved solely through sports, music, or entertainment.

Taking to his Snapchat page, Joshua advised entertainers and sports players to avoid being carried away by fame and instead focus on building sustainable wealth through business acumen.

“For any to reach billionaire status, it will not be through sports, music, or entertainment. Don’t get lost in the hype; focus on the sustainability, books, and business ethics,” he wrote.

While sports and entertainment can open doors to immense wealth, reaching billionaire status often requires diversification into business ventures.

Globally, only a handful of entertainers and sports players have attained billionaire status. According to Forbes, individuals like Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James are among this elite group, with much of their fortune stemming from endorsements, investments, and entrepreneurial pursuits.

Joshua’s perspective has sparked conversations on social media, with many agreeing on the importance of leveraging fame to create lasting wealth.
