Businesswoman questions Ghanaian currency payment for ₦50k worth of goods, seeks advice
A businesswoman seeks help after being paid in Ghanaian currency by a customer who bought goods worth ₦50k from her.
The customer told her that each note was worth ₦50k, but the woman is now asking online if this is true.
The businesswoman shared her dilemma in a video posted on her page via the popular social media platform, TikTok.
In the video, she explained that a customer came to her store to purchase goods and paid her in Ghanaian currency.
The customer claimed that each of the three notes she handed over was worth ₦50k in Nigerian naira.
The businesswoman then took to social media to seek advice on whether this was true.
She displayed the currency and asked her followers how much she would receive when exchanging it for naira.
Her statement: “A customer came into my shop to purchase goods worth ₦50k. She gave me these three pieces of notes and told me that each note is worth ₦50k. Please let me know, have I been scammed or not? If I exchange it, how much would I receive?”
