Fani-Kayode unleashes on Kemi Badenoch over Anti-Nigeria remarks

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has urged Kemi Badenoch, the newly elected leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, to sever ties with her Nigerian roots, including her parents, siblings, and heritage.

In a post shared on his X account on Sunday, Fani-Kayode expressed strong disapproval of Badenoch’s stance on Nigeria, claiming she has distanced herself from her Nigerian identity.

He stated that if Badenoch refuses to acknowledge Nigeria, the country would, in turn, disassociate from her.

He went on to describe her as “the devil incarnate” and “the spawn of Satan,” accusing her of betraying her origins.

Fani-Kayode further advised Badenoch to focus solely on the United Kingdom and its affairs, urging her to steer clear of any involvement with Nigeria.

He wrote, “She should formally wipe her maiden name of Adegoke off the record as well and publicly renounce and disavow her father, mother, siblings and Nigerian lineage and heritage.

“She does not want to identify with us, and we do not want to identify with her.

“She sees us as being corrupt and evil and we see her as being the devil incarnate and the spawn of satan. There can be no fellowship between us.

“The truth is that she is no longer a mere irritant or the inconsequential object of our contempt and ridicule but she can now be comfortably and legitimately described as ‘public enemy number one’ of our beloved nation.

“She should stick to the affairs of her UK, face its ruling Labour Party and its Prime Minister Keir Starmer @Keir_Starmer and leave Nigeria alone!”
