‘There’s something going on at Manchester City’ – pundit claims as Guardiola faces crisis

Following a shocking collapse against Feyenoord in the Champions League, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola faces mounting pressure.

Despite leading 3-0 at the Etihad, City conceded three goals in 14 minutes, resulting in a shocking 3-3 draw on Tuesday night.

Erling Haaland’s 53rd-minute strike seemed to seal the win, but defensive lapses allowed the Dutch side to equalize, leaving the home crowd stunned.

David Hancko’s late goal capped the comeback, with Guardiola admitting, “We are fragile, and of course, we needed a victory.”

The result follows a poor domestic run, including a 4-0 loss to Tottenham, and raises questions about City’s ability to cope without injured midfielder Rodri.

However, pundits like Jamie O’Hara argue the team’s struggles go beyond Rodri’s absence. “It can’t just be about Rodri,” he said on talkSPORT.

“There’s something going on at Manchester City that no one seems to have the answer for.”

Another pundit Jason Cundy added, “The wheels have come off. City looks disjointed; their press lacks cohesion. This might be Guardiola’s biggest managerial challenge yet.”
