Taiwo Awoniyi claims ‘Nigeria has better food, football legends than the UK’

Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has praised Nigeria, claiming it leads the United Kingdom in several aspects.

In an interview with Livescore, the Super Eagles forward expressed his preference for Nigeria’s cuisine, weather, music and fashion.

“Nigeria has better food and football legends than the UK,” Awoniyi confidently stated.

He also named Nigerian rapper Olamide as his favourite musician.

When asked about the most fashionable player in the current Super Eagles squad, Awoniyi singled out Victor Osimhen, his compatriot and Napoli striker, for his unique style.

Despite living in England for his professional career, Awoniyi emphasized his love for Nigeria, describing it as his favourite holiday destination.
