Kate Henshaw bashed over comment on lady who prefers to date ‘Yahoo boys’
Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw sparks outrage with her response to a young lady who stated reasons she prefers dating Yahoo boys over working-class men.
In an interview that quickly circulated online, the lady explained her choice, saying she enjoys dating Yahoo boys because they “spoil their babies.”
Adding to her point, she revealed that Yahoo boys are a fun, club-going lifestyle, whereas working-class men expect their partners to stay home and cook—a lifestyle she finds unappealing.
“All these old men over 30 are the working class; you cannot see any under 30 that won’t press. I prefer Yahoo boys because they have that clubbing vibes. A working-class will not take you to club; yahoo boys will take you to club and your bag will be filled. Working class will ask you to stay at home cooking for him,” the woman stated.
Reacting to the controversial statement, Kate Henshaw issued a stern warning on social media, likening it to rising ritual cases involving young girls.
“Na so dem go take pieces you for ritual. Yeye mindset,” she wrote.
Henshaw’s reaction has stirred a mix of opinions, with some fans supporting her for cautioning against glamorizing the lifestyle of Yahoo boys, while others debated the woman’s perspectives on relationships and societal expectations.
