Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson could face disciplinary action after footage surfaced showing him slapping Nottingham Forest’s Morato.

This happened during a heated altercation in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Jackson, who had been substituted in the 81st minute, got involved from the sidelines, with video appearing to show him slapping Forest’s Morato before being pulled away by his teammates.

Although Jackson avoided punishment during the game, the FA could still review the incident and hand out sanctions, according to SunSport.

Despite the drama, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca defended his team’s aggression, stating, “I like the team spirit, the way they are fighting together.

“I’m very happy with how they’re becoming a team.”
