Real Madrid reportedly eye Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran

Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Aston Villa’s rising star, Jhon Duran, as a potential transfer target for 2025.

The 20-year-old Colombian striker has caught the attention of Los Blancos following his impressive form in the Premier League this season.

Despite Real Madrid’s wealth of attacking talent, the club are believed to be exploring options to strengthen their forward line.

Duran, primarily used as a substitute at Villa, has already netted four Premier League goals for Unai Emery’s side this season.

 

His standout moment came when he scored the decisive goal in Villa’s historic home Champions League win against Bayern Munich.

According to reports from several Spanish media, there is concrete interest from Madrid, but with Duran’s contract at Villa running until 2028, the English club could demand a substantial fee.

This fee according to Football Insider is said to be around £50 million, before any potential transfer can be made next summer.

Previously linked with Barcelona, Duran’s future may lie in La Liga, with Real Madrid now keen on the talented young striker.
