Ten Hag under fire as 10-Man Manchester United suffer 3-0 defeat to Spurs

Manchester United’s struggles continued with a humiliating 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

This adds to the growing pressure on Erik ten Hag to turn things around at the club.

A first-half red card for captain Bruno Fernandes compounded United’s woes, but even before that, Spurs were in complete control.

Brennan Johnson opened Spurs account just three minutes in, tapping home after a long run by Micky van de Ven.

Despite United’s efforts, they were outclassed throughout the match, with Fernandes being sent off for a reckless challenge on James Maddison in the 42nd minute.

In the second half, Tottenham capitalized on their one man advantage.

Dejan Kulusevski volleyed in a second goal early on, and Dominic Solanke sealed the win with a close-range finish after a corner in the 84th minute.

The result marks United’s second consecutive 3-0 home defeat in the Premier League, following a similar loss to Liverpool.

Ten Hag’s side, now 12th in the table, faces mounting pressure about their form, as they prepare for crucial fixtures against Porto and Aston Villa.
