New twist as VeryDarkMan declines to honor EFCC invitation
Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has declined the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC invitation to discuss the alleged N15m payment by convicted crossdresser, Bobrisky to its officials.
Recall that VeryDarkMan had in a video released on Tuesday alleged that a bribe was reportedly paid by Bobrisky for money laundering charges levelled against him to be dropped by the crime commission.
VeryDarkMan in the video played a purported recorded voice call between Bobrisky and an unknown man whom he allegedly owed N4,000,000 and delayed to pay back.
However, upon hearing the allegations, EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede ordered the immediate investigation of the leaked voice note in which Bobrisky was alleged to have made the insinuation of a bribe to the commission’s operatives.
VeryDarkMan who leaked the alleged voice note was given an invitation along with Bobrisky to appear at the Lagos command of the EFCC for interrogations.
However, responding to the invitation late on Wednesday, VeryDarkMan poohpoohed the move by the EFCC saying that the ball was in the court of the commission to interrogate its officials first on the issue.
He also asserted that he did not trust the commission to carry out a sincere probe on the issue.
He, however, said that he could consider coming if the commission would provide him with a first class air ticket, security details, and accommodation in a top rate hotel in Lagos.
