Senator Abbo threatens legal action against woman alleging he ‘made sex tapes’ with her
Senator Elisha Abbo from Adamawa North has recently made headlines by threatening legal action against Wange David following her accusations of their involvement in creating sex tapes together.
In a recent interview, David alleged that she had produced 32 sex tapes with Abbo and accused him of releasing one of the videos online, claiming that he is the sole individual with access to it.
However, Abbo has refuted these allegations. His legal representative, Odiyowvi Osusu, has also issued a formal response to David’s assertions, declaring that they have greatly harmed Abbo’s personal and professional image and misinformed the public.
The letter highlights that the video in question was published on the “Naija Police: U” platform on September 4, 2024, and an interview was broadcast by TrustTV News on YouTube the following day.
Osusu has demanded that David issue a public retraction and apology within 72 hours. This retraction must be aired on national TV and published in three national newspapers, with the terms subject to approval by Abbo’s legal team. Additionally, the retraction should be circulated on the same platforms where the original content appeared.
Failure to comply within the given timeframe will lead to legal action seeking damages for libel, an injunction to prevent further publications, and a court-ordered retraction and public apology.
The letter warns that if a satisfactory response is not received, legal proceedings will be initiated against David.
