Nations League: Dembélé steals show as France clinch 2-0 win over Belgium

France bounced back from their 3-1 defeat to Italy in style, securing a 2-0 win over Belgium in the UEFA Nations League.

Ousmane Dembélé was a standout performer, helping Les Bleus claim their first win of the competition.

Belgium started aggressively, with Dodi Lukebakio causing early problems for the French defense.

France struggled initially, with Matteo Guendouzi failing to capitalize on a promising delivery from Jules Koundé.

The game then shifted in France’s favour when Randal Kolo Muani capitalized on a save by Koen Casteels in the 30th minute, pouncing on the rebound to put France ahead.

After the break, France grew stronger and Dembélé doubled their lead with a stunning strike, curling the ball past Casteels from the edge of the box.

Kylian Mbappe also injected energy into the team’s offense after joining as a substitute, but the score remained unchanged.
