Ilebaye replies fan who expressed disappointment over BBNaija S8 victory
Reality TV star, Ilebaye, has responded to a fan who opined on why she emerged victorious in the eighth edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show themed ‘All Stars’.
Ilebaye’s response followed her recent announcement of her colleague Angel Smith’s engagement and upcoming wedding during an Instagram live session.
During the live session, Ilebaye expressed admiration for Big Brother Naija’s No Loose Guard couple, DoubleKay, and offered support.
Following Ilebaye’s announcement, a fan expressed disappointment on X (formerly Twitter) over her support for the duo.
The fan claimed Ilebaye’s victory in the All Stars edition was due to her feisty personality.
The fan’s tweet reads, “Ilebaye, I’m very disappointed in you. If you had been calm last year, we wouldn’t have gone through sleepless nights and tears on your behalf. Only God knows how I and my people fought for you, a stranger. Money is given to those who work for it, period”.
In response, Ilebaye attributed her victory to God and acknowledged that the fan was not a genuine fan.
Ilebaye tweeted, “Calm or no calm, I would still have won. You don’t know what grace is. Pray to God to tell you in your sleep. My Baye tribe supported me massively without insulting me. Madam, watch your figures before typing shit to me. Thanks for the vote, it was counted”.
