“D’banj is the only Nigerian man that has given me free money” – Toke Makinwa reveals
Media personality Toke Makinwa reveals that music icon D’banj is the only Nigerian man who has ever given her free money without expecting anything in return.
In a widely circulated video on social media, the renowned on-air personality shared her first encounter with the singer and how much confidence he had in her.
She shared that many years later, she kickstarted her career and D’banj was there to show his support. She wrote a book and at her book launch, D’banj pledged ₦10 million, which he paid the following morning at 8 a.m.
Toke Makinwa further declared that he remains the only man in Nigeria who gave her free money without asking for anything in return, describing him as his major guy.
