Chalobah joins Crystal Palace on season-long loan move from Chelsea

Crystal Palace have successfully signed Trevoh Chalobah on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

The deal happened just before the Friday night transfer deadline.

Meanwhile, the move does not include an option or obligation to buy, meaning Chalobah will return to Chelsea at the end of the 2024/25 season.

The defender, who was not in Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca’s plans for the season, expressed his excitement about the move.

“I’m delighted to join an ambitious club like Crystal Palace.

“I know some of the boys in the squad well and I’m looking forward to playing alongside them in front of the amazing support at Selhurst Park,” he said.
