Funke Akindele slams netizen who advised her to stop starring in her movies

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele recently responded sharply to a netizen who suggested she should stop featuring in her own movies.

Taking to the microblogging platform X, the box office queen shared a video of her dancing while publicizing her upcoming movie, “Everybody Loves Jenifa” set to hit cinemas in December.

An X user, identified as @Godbles82, suggested that the actress would probably fare better if she doesn’t feature as a cast in her movie.

The X user wrote: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”

Funke Akindele replied: “Maybe you could do better logging out of this app”
