Airport cleaner returns $10,000 found on aircraft

An airport cleaner, Auwal Dankode recently made headlines for his remarkable honesty after returning $10,000 he discovered on an aircraft.

A cleaner working for the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) found $10,000 (₦16 million) while carrying out his routine duties and immediately reported it to his superiors.

The act of honesty the Kano Malam Aminu Kano International Airport’s cleaner displayed has earned him widespread praise.
