Mourinho’s Fenerbahce makes opening offer to Fiorentina for Amrabat
José Mourinho is reportedly keen on bringing Sofyan Amrabat to Fenerbahce, with the Turkish club sending an initial offer to Fiorentina.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Fenerbahce is keen to secure Amrabat’s services before the summer transfer window closes.
Amrabat, who recently returned to Fiorentina after a one-year loan spell at Manchester United, has attracted interest despite Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino’s hopes of keeping him.
The midfielder has since been reintegrated into the Fiorentina squad, starting in Serie A matches against Parma and Venezia, where he played the full 90 minutes in both games.
The 26-year-old Moroccan international was a standout at the 2022 World Cup and has made a significant impact in Serie A, with two goals and three assists across 119 appearances for Fiorentina and Hellas Verona.
Despite his contributions, Fiorentina might be open to a late transfer, with Fenerbahce keen to bolster their midfield.
