Eddie Nketiah agree personal terms with Nottingham Forest as deal near completion

Eddie Nketiah is close to sealing a move to Nottingham Forest after agreeing on personal terms with the club.

Talks between Forest and Arsenal have advanced significantly, with both sides optimistic about finalizing the deal soon.

Forest’s pursuit of the 25-year-old forward has been persistent, with an initial bid of £25 million, including add-ons, rejected by Arsenal earlier this week.

However, football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed on X that the forward has reached an agreement with the English side.

He wrote, “Eddie Nketiah has just agreed on personal terms with Nottingham Forest as talks are advancing to final stages with Arsenal.

“NFFC confident to get it done soon.

“Feyenoord rejected €26m plus add-ons for Santiago Giménez also offered today,” Fabrizio Romano.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal are holding out for a fee in the region of £30-35 million.

Despite the rejection, negotiations are ongoing as Forest remain determined to bring Nketiah to the City Ground.

Nketiah had been linked with a move to Marseille earlier in the summer, but the deal fell through due to disagreements over the transfer fee.
