Tekno debunks reports of collapsing in South Africa

Afrobeat singer and songwriter, Augustine Miles Kelechukwu, popularly known as Tekno has taken to social media to debunk trending reports that he collapsed in South Africa.

A viral video making rounds on social media captured the moment a person was surrounded by people trying to assist him after he collapsed at an event.

Even though the face of the person wasn’t visible, reports suggested that it was Tekno in the video while he was at South Africa.

In reaction, the singer shared a photo of him on his Instagram page, announcing to his fans and followers that he is hale and hearty and currently not in South Africa.

He however, prayed that whoever was in the video is doing and fine.

His words: “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you guys. Love you”

The singer’s friends, fans and followers expressed their excitement following his post.

It is worth noting that another report followed the rumors, alleging that the actual person in the video was Kenyan rapper, Prezzo, who collapsed during the launch of the Bahatis.
