WAEC result of girl whose English grade spoiled her good results causes buzz online
A heartbroken young Nigerian girl, Chisom Francisca, whose English grade blemished her other stellar WAEC results, has taken to social media to ask for advice following its release.
In her Facebook post, Francisca shared a photo of her result and expressed concern over her eligibility to study Banking and Finance due to receiving a D7 in English, despite excelling in other subjects.
Francisca’s WASSCE results showed A1 in Accounting, Economics, Civic Education, and Mathematics, and B3 in Commerce, B2 in Marketing and Government, with a C5 in Igbo.
Her overall academic performance seemed strong, but the D7 in English led her to question whether she could still pursue her desired course and later switch to Accounting.
The post quickly captured the attention of social media users, who offered a range of advice and suggestions..
